After obtaining an undergraduate degree in political science from Presbyterian College, Karen graduated from The University of Georgia School of Law in 1988. She immediately began practicing law and has continuously specialized in estate matters for all 30+ years.
Her first job was with a law firm in Decatur Georgia where she handled a trust department that managed estates for two of the Dekalb County Administrators and Guardians.
She also started handling estate planning, estate administration and real estate title disputes while with this firm.
Upon moving to Fayette County, she began working with Webb, Wade and Taylor. It was during this time that she continued her estate planning practice but also began taking a high volume of cases as a VA Fiduciary/Guardian. A few years later she was appointed by the Fayette County Probate Judge to serve as one of the Fayette County Administrators and Conservators. All of these roles give her a unique ability to serve her clients with well-rounded experience that spans many specialties and over three decades.
