Karen C. Gainey began practicing law in Decatur, GA after graduating from the UGA law school in 1988. Although her practice has been quite varied, her main areas of practice have been estate planning, probate and general estate matters including guardianship and real estate . During her 11 years in Decatur, Ms. Gainey represented several of the County Guardians and County Administrators in Dekalb County. In that capacity, she was responsible for handling all legal matters for the estates. Ms. Gainey also represented the Dekalb County Board of Education in their defense of workers’ compensation claims. She began practicing at Webb, Lindsey & Wade in 2000 and she has continued to specialize in Estate matters. She is admitted to practice in all Georgia’s courts including the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court. |
